TRAINING MODALITY:

The modality presented is the “Virtual-OFFLINE” (Virtual asynchronous); in this you will develop a course every 30 days, which is made up of videos, materials, slides and questions to the speaker. At the end of each course, you must take an exam to pass it and move on to the next course.

You will be assigned the tutoring of a specialist and there will be no limitations in terms of access hours or consultations with the speaker, this promotes that you be trained efficiently. The hours dedicated to each module must be managed assertively to optimize the benefit. You will experience all of the above through our virtual campus, which will also allow us to monitor your progress.

Professionals and technicians who work in mining, construction and/or energy companies and are working in the areas of engineering, planning, geotechnics, geomechanics, geology, mining safety and professionals who require greater knowledge of it.

► 1. Geomechanical mapping for tunnels and/or underground excavations

[Field data collection, RMR, Q Barton and GSI geomechanical classifications, types of mapping, stereographic projection, principal stress orientation estimation, Dips and Unwedge workshops]

[Introduction to rock mechanics, failure criteria, rock mass strength analysis, soils and discontinuities]

[Interactive orientation analysis based on geological data, kinematic analysis of slopes and underground excavations]

[FEM finite element analysis for underground excavations and embankments, numerical modelling]

► 5. Support design for tunnels and/or mining excavations

[Phase2 and RocSupport software workshop, methodologies for designing supports]

► 6. Geomechanical design in underground excavations and tunnels

[Phase2 software workshop, selection of mining exploitation methods, work sizing methods Barton (Q), Mathews, Laubscher, design of mining pillars and bridges]

► 7. Stability of slopes in soils and rocks

[Slide, Dips, RocPlane and Swedge software workshop, classification of mass movements, methods of geological geotechnical investigations, numerical modeling of slopes, kinematic analysis of slopes]
